This is the largest venomous snake in the world reaching lenghs up to 18 feet. Its neurotoxic and cardiotoxic bite yields a venom dose of 175-300 mg. A fatal human dose is 30 mg. The King Cobra lives in tropical Asia and Philippines near streams in forests, and adjacent to agricultural areas. It eats almost exclusively other snakes.
