Company H, 2nd Massachusetts Infantry, Colgrove’s Brigade - 5 ft. 11 in., blue eyes. A farmer before the war. Wounded in arm, plus a gunshot to the right hip. Received wound around McAllister’s Woods and Spangler Meadow. Temporary gangrene in right thigh. Lived until November 1903.
