Company B, 72nd New York Infantry, Brewster’s Excelsior Brigade - Age 20. Survived heavy fighting in the Peach Orchard on July 2, 1863. Wounded at Spotsylvania, May 1864. Returned to family home in Carroll, New York to farm after war and care for family.
