Company H, 140th New York Infantry, Weed’s Brigade - Age 19, 5 ft. 6 ½ in., gray eyes, black hair, clerk by trade. He battled atop Little Round Top, July 2, 1863. Survived the war. Later promoted to 2nd Lieutenant. His descendents have preserved his saber and sash.
