(1829-1905) N.E. Corner, High and Washington Streets. Apprentice Stone Cutter for Solomon Powers. Married Solomon’s oldest daughter Cynthia Powers. They had two sons: Frank, born in 1862 and James born on April 4, 1863. Tragically, James died after falling into a bucket of scalding water in 1865. His wife Cynthia died ten months after the Battle.
