(1834-1864) N.E. Corner, High and Washington Streets. First Child of Solomon and Catherine Powers. Married Daniel F. Pittenturf in april 1860. During the battle, she nursed 28 wounded men in the Powers house cellar. She fainted once from the shock of an exploding shell. Perhaps due to a damp cellar, she caught a severe cold and died on May 15, 1864. She is the forgotten "Sixth" Powers sister.
