Caption

This is Locomotive Springs a State Waterfowl Management Area. There are about five springs in this area west and south of Indian Hill. Indian Hill is the small hill just south of the road. The Bidwell Party missed these springs probably because of poor scouting. A scout riding on top of Indian Hills would have seen these springs.
