Caption

This aerial view is of Big Springs now called the O BAR CATTLE COMPANY. Some where near here the Bidwell Party abandoned their last 7 wagons hich were subsequently burned by later emigrants. On the page where idwell describes the abandonment of the wagons, McKinstry scrawled a arginal note, unfortunately not dated: "We cooked our supper & reakfast with fires made from the remains of three wagons - McKinstry, jr.
