The Low Tablet dates to the Adena culture. It is carved on a sandstone and has human faces, bird forms and abstract designs. It is 8.32 cm wide, 12.3 cm long, and .89 cm in depth. On the revese side are groves that may have been used for sharpening bone tools.

The Low Table was discovered by Ed Low who loaned it to the Ohio Historical Society. Unfortunately, the Ohio Historical Society decided to steal the tablet and not give it back.
