Caption

The Spruce Creek Mound Complex is a prehistoric archaeological site in Port Orange, Florida, It contains major earthworks built from earth and shell middens. These earthworks were built between 500-1000 A.D. The Mound is 22 feet high and about 130 feet in diameter. A smaller mound is just off to the left and is about 4 feet high.
