This photo shows the Hastings Pass in the Cedar Mountains. The road over the canyon is seen on the upper right just at the end of the plane strut. The Hastings Trail goes from the center of the strut just below the middle of the photo to the top of the ridge then goes down into the canyon where all the cedars are and diagonally to the right below where the road goes up to the summit.
