Caption

The swale in the center of this photo is the Bidwell & Hastings Trail as it approaches Silver Zone Pass in the Torano Mountains. This beautiful sand swale no longer exist because the Nevada Maintenance people inadvertently tore this portion out while maintaining the main gravel road which is in back of this photo.
